- March 16: At the Détroit (Promenade des Anglais): "la princesse Souvoroff était au Détroit, elle me regarde et me suit des yeux jusqu'à ce qu'on ne peut plus voir" (Princess Souvoroff was at the Détroit, she looks at me and follows me with her eyes until one can no longer see).
- March 20: Visits Marie's family: "la gracieuse princesse Souvoroff" showed friendship to Maman all winter at Monte-Carlo. Leaves her portrait, forces promise to visit her new Paris house. "C'est la femme la plus aimable et la plus charmante" (She's the most amiable and charming woman).
