- April 28: "ce Piccon a prononcé un discours dans je ne sais quelle assemblée, qui disait que Nice doit se séparer de la France etc." Forced to resign. Famous in Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Nice. Marie names Lewita's former white dog "M. Piccon" - "nom court et agréable pour un chien."
